The mission of Kids 4 Christ is to reach children from traditionally unchurched populations with the Gospel Message of Christ.
Kids 4 Christ (K4C Ministries, Inc.) is an independent non-profit ministry, working with "at-risk" children living in and around the community of LaFayette, Georgia. K4C works to break cycles of generational poverty and hopelessness through providing education and spiritual growth activities primarily focused on kids 3 to 14 years old.
Since 2002, K4C volunteers have worked with hundreds of local youth. Beyond providing services, volunteers have modeled Christian lives and served as positive examples while showing the benefits of making good choices. Adults at K4C represent a variety of local churches and denominations.
K4C is not a replacement of the local church, but an extension of it - part of THE Church, God's church - doing His work among LaFayette's future community leaders. Every day K4C is reaching kids who have fallen through the cracks, uncomfortable, unwelcome, or otherwise unable to attend traditional worship services, and introducing them to Jesus and concepts of Christian faith.
All activities and services at Kids 4 Christ are provided free. No child or parent is ever asked to pay (or give) as part of participating. That means K4C is fully dependent upon God and His people for financial support. K4C is an IRS-registered 501(c)3 nonprofit organization, going above and beyond minimal reporting standards For transparency and donor convenience, monthly financial reports and annual financial reviews are posted online.
For accountability, Kids 4 Christ is overseen by a board of directors. K4C Directors are church, community, and business leaders chosen for their commitment to Christ. The board oversees finances and major decisions, with day-to-day operations delegated to an Executive Director.
Kids 4 Christ has an open door policy. Anyone in the community is welcome to drop in and check out activities or talk with ministry volunteers and staff during regular office hours. Financial reports, board minutes, and participation statistics are available by request in person or via e-mail.
