Raffle Winner Announced
Local Real Estate Agent Wins Electric Car in K4C Fundraiser
On December 8th Kids 4 Christ held the drawing for their electric car raffle. The winning ticket was held by Freddy Caheely, an employee of Jackson Realty and resident of LaFayette, who had purchased five tickets for the raffle drawing. Caheely won a 2007 Tomlinson E-Merge E-2, an electric vehicle resembling a beefy golf cart with safety features to make it street legal.
Mr. Caheely and his wife Tina plan to trailer the electric car behind their RV while traveling to car shows and going camping. They expect to enjoy the E-Merge on camping trips and in Gatlinberg and said they were excited about winning and were happy their ticket purchased helped to support Kids 4 Christ.
1166 raffle tickets were sold in September, October, and November last year, raising more than $6,000 for the Kids 4 Christ building program. The E-Merge vehicle was donated by a generous K4C supporter.
