October Designated Kids 4 Christ Prayer Month
Christians Asked to Pray for LaFayette Children's Ministry;
Prayer Week Materials Available for Local Churches

This fall churches all over Northwest Georgia will be praying for the ministries of Kids 4 Christ. The month of October has been designated as Kids 4 Christ prayer month, a time when individual Christians are asked to reserve six days to pray for individual Bible classes and ministries at Kids 4 Christ.

Kids 4 Christ fully depends on the support of local Christians who give of their time and finances. But K4C has an even greater need for the prayers and supplications of God's people to open Heaven's Floodgates to bless its ministry and the families involved. That's why Christians interested in the spiritual future of at-risk youth are being asked to set aside one week during October to pray daily for the people and ministries of Kids 4 Christ.

Prayer month participants can subscribe to daily e-mail reminders during their chosen week of prayer. Supporters can also subscribe KneeMail, prayer requests sent weekly throughout the year. KneeMail include prayer requests from K4C students, community needs, and prayer needs from within Kids 4 Christ. E-mail prayer@k4c.info to subscribe to prayer week re-minder e-mails or weekly KneeMail requests.

Participating churches will be provided with material to promote the prayer month to their congregations. Available bulletin inserts include information about the ministries of Kids 4 Christ and a six-day prayer guide highlighting individual classes and needs within the organi-zation. The designated prayer month is October, but supplied material is undated and can be used during any time of the year. Kids 4 Christ is an independent 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving children in the LaFayette area. K4C offers weekly Bible classes, a daily after-school academic program, and mentoring activities to help children open their minds, hearts, and lives to Jesus. Kids 4 Christ publishes two newsletters, one for K4C students and a mailing for volunteers and supporters. K4C also sends out e-mail updates and weekly prayer request Knee-Mail.
